Best Mexican food I've had since I moved from Arizona! Our waitress was quicker than we could ever ask for. We never had time to ask for anything because she was already bringing refills and bringing what we needed. Enchiladas were great but their avocado cilantro salsa with chips was the star of the show! I wish I could replicate it. It was delicious!
Nice place. Clean, polite and quick staff. Food was good but not great. Some more flavor is definitely needed. Portion to cost ratio is a little off as well. 18 for a burrito and rice was just not right for the amount of food you receive, burrito should have been a bit bigger. Tex Mex yes, overall experience positive. I can't see myself coming back regularly but on an occasion, I don't see why not.
The empanadas were very delicious and came in a very good timely! The atmosphere nice and casual. Service good, drinks good. I recommend for friends or family celebrations, any ocassion.
The best fajitas (we did the Trio) we have ever had. Absolutely delicious. The meat was tender, flavorful and very good quality. The shrimp were big and also marinated and grilled. Just loved every single thing about the food and water!
Gave it 5 total stars, because it was a very good experience. It did have room for improvement, but there were no egregious problems. Service was pretty good, food was pretty good, little expensive for what we got, but we left full and happy. Not your normal mexican food menu which was nice. Server gave decent recommendations about drinks and the sangria was awesome. After the order was taken, service got pretty slow as far as drink refills and to-go boxes, but it was a minor inconvenience at best. And we were not in any hurry. Atmosphere was kinda cool, artwork and such was unique, and the menu was good enough that we want to go back to try some other items.
Can’t go wrong with Abuelo’s. Continued consistency of delicious foods. My personal favorite side is the papas, however it’s hard to find a bad option on the menu. Been coming here for years with my family and it will continue to be a great place for friends, family, and I for delicious food options. A little overpriced but I understand that going into it. Must try if you haven’t already!
This is amazing Prime Rib at a very well cooked medium rare. It was so tender, and it just melted in your mouth. Only served on Fridays and Saturdays after 4 p.m., but if you're around, catch you a slice. It CAN come with bacon wrapped shrimp, which has a delicate flavor. There are two options (one with shrimp and one without).It also comes with beans and mash potatoes, which the potatoes are wrapped in a pepper. Such a great special and thank you Abuelos!
The food was delicious and came in bigger portions than expected. Our server Solana was so sweet and nice! 100% would recommend! I ordered a grande burrito and my husband ordered a grande platter.
